#trippin254 Challenge

By Linsey Thut | August 1, 2017

Hey guys! To celebrate the end of summer, the greatness of Texas, and our AWESOME NEW WEBSITE — we’re hosting an epic challenge where you can win some sweet swag.

Here’s how it works. We’re challenging y’all to venture to every corner of Texas – all 254 counties. All you gotta do is this:

1. Hit the road.

2. Take a photo somewhere in Texas wearing a piece of DAYTRIPPER swag (like something from The Daytripper General Store) or just something bearing the word “DAYTRIPPER.” Write it on a BBQ napkin for all we care… just make sure it’s in the picture.

3. Share the photo on social media (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) with the hashtag #trippin254 and the name of the county you’re visiting.

The first person to each county will “claim” that county and we will mark it off our map. Our goal is to mark off all 254 counties. We know you guys can do it! You can claim more than one county, but each photo must be taken within the boundary of that county. It can be by the courthouse, by the creek or at your favorite BBQ joint. We’ll be updating our map everyday, so please check back in and see what’s left of this epic Texas land grab.

If you’re the first person to take a photo in the county, we’re gonna send you a DAYTRIPPER decal. And as a special BONUS – if you can incorporate one of our partners into your photo, you’ll get a piece of swag from that partner too. So find a Chevy, visit a local Texas Farm Bureau Insurance agent, snap a selfie by a Best Western sign, drink a Lone Star Beer, grub on some Rudy’s Bar-B-Q, or stroll the Georgetown square. It’s up to you. Be creative!

On your mark, get set, go! We want to see how quickly we can get a photo from¬†ALL 254 counties in Texas, so get to trippin’ and start posting your photos — we can’t wait to see them! ¬†#trippin254
