Nominees for the 2012 Lone Star Emmy Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences were announced on the evening of Friday, September 28, 2012, and “The Daytripper with Chet Garner” was nominated for a total of three Lone Star Emmy awards in the following categories:

Chet Garner, Host Of The Daytripper
This makes the third consecutive year that “The Daytripper” was nominated in the category of “Texas Heritage – Program Special,” for which the show has taken home and won a Lone Star Emmy Award on each previous occasion.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work of our entire crew who tirelessly devout hundreds of hours to make this show possible.
