The Daytripper now available on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected by KLRU Austin to bring The Daytripper to the PBS app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. The app is completely free; all you need is an Internet/Wi-Fi connection to watch. See our latest episodes via the PBS app and never miss another show again!

To download the app search for “PBS” in the iTunes App Store or click on the links below based on your device. The initial setup process requires you to “localize” the app to KLRU Austin. We’re working with PBS to make this better, but for now here’s how to get The Daytripper on your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch anywhere in the United States.

To install the PBS iPad app click here:

1. After you’ve installed the app, click “select station” in the upper left corner.

2. Select “Find by Zip” and enter 78705. (This may not be your zip code, but please use it for now!)

3. Select “Over the Air” and then click KLRU.

4. In the left column menu, choose the “Programs” icon (third down, looks like a play button) and scroll down to The Daytripper.

5. You’re all set!

To install the PBS iPod Touch or iPhone app click here:

1. After you’ve installed the app, click “More” in the bottom right corner and then the “Settings” tab at the top.

2. Click “Select New Station.” In the upper left corner you’ll see a link titled “Location.” Click that.

3. Click the “Find By Zip” link and enter 78705. (This may not be your zip code, but please use it for now!)

4. Scroll to the bottom to select “Over the Air” and then click KLRU 18.

5. You’re all set! In the bottom menu, choose “Programs” and scroll down to The Daytripper.
